Local Driving Permits: It is mandatory by law to have a local drivers permit in order to drive here in St. Lucia, if you are not holding an International Drivers License. We will be happy to issue you a permit at the government cost of USD12.00 per driver which is valid for one day or USD$21.00 per driver which is valid for 3 months. 

Age Requirements: To be eligible to rent a vehicle in St. Lucia, one must be at least of 25 years of age with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and no more than 65 years old (persons older than 65years must present a doctor’s certificate) as per insurance policy.

 Collision Damage Waiver (optional): This is NOT an insurance. What CDW does is reduce your full liability in the event of a collision/loss.

To free you the hassle whiles on holiday we recommend that you accept CDW.

CDW is offered at a rate of USD15.00 per day, with a deposit of US$500.00 cash or a signed credit card imprint at the beginning of the rental transaction, to cover the initial expenses of any damages or loss, in the event of an accident/ collision or loss via water, fire or theft.

Where CDW is accepted, responsibility for damages is partially waived providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with all conditions of the contract.
